Gifts needed for these ministries:
Compass: The purpose of this ministry is to help college-aged young adults (20s and 30s), both single and with families, navigate all aspects of life in an increasingly disorienting world, using God’s word as our compass.
Discipleship: Discipleship can happen organically when two believers feel the prompting of the Holy Spirit to meet together to grow in grace. However, it can be hard to get connected in a large church. Our Discipleship team matches mature believers with younger believers to help both grow together in Christ.
First Contact: Greet & welcome guests at the Welcome Center and make sure they get a gift bag. Hand out bulletins at the doors of the auditorium, and help folks find open seats. Your job is helping people feel at home at Grace Bible
Grace Kids Children’s Church: Our energetic elementary-aged kids, 3 years to 2nd grade, are dismissed after corporate worship for age-appropriate activities and lessons during the sermon.
Grace Kids Nursery: Sit with our church family’s adorable babies and influence them for the Kingdom, while giving their parents a chance to focus on the Sunday morning message, or study in Sunday School. Volunteers cover only one of these a Sunday, so you don’t miss everything when you’re serving, and we have a good rotation of volunteers.
International Missions: Our annual short-term missions trips to the Dominican Republic and Ukraine work in partnership with locally-run organizations and churches with the common goal of serving their communities together in Christ. Past trips have included construction projects, medical missions, and humanitarian intervention, all while spreading the gospel.
Kids4Truth: During the school year, Kids for Truth is our Wednesday night kids’ program, and it’s a big deal at Grace Bible! We get a lot of kids—ages 3 to high school—from the community, including unchurched kids. We need teachers and teachers’ assistants.
LINK Youth Group: Help our 6th-12th graders experience life changing moments while worshipping together and creating relationships with them
LINK Youth Praise Band: Whether you’re in middle or high school, or an adult willing to help play or sing on a Sunday night, we can use your talents on the LINK praise and worship team.
Men’s Ministry: Our Men’s Ministry is a team of men that serve the men of Grace Bible, as well as the church family at large, and even the surrounding community. Volunteers put together regular men’s book and Bible studies, facilitate the monthly men’s breakfast, orchestrate service projects within the church, and also plan and organize several big events each year, such as our Wild Game Feed, and the Mother-Daughter banquet for Mother’s Day
Praise and Worship Team: Our Praise and Worship Team uses music to point the congregation to the Truth, and give them a chance to respond to that Truth. If you are a musician or vocalist who would like information on how to audition for the team, please let us know. We are always growing and learning, and we want you on board!
Prayer Team: Our Prayer team helps support our weekend services by praying with those who need it after services. Members of this team will also gather at the church on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month, at 1:00 PM, to pray over requests in the church
Sunday School: Do you have the gift of teaching? How about administration and organization? Do you love kids? We need volunteers to teach children’s Sunday school classes and volunteers to assist the teachers
Visiting Team: The Grace Bible Church Visiting Team is responsible for regularly and consistently ministering to church members who are unable to attend church in person, and are at risk of being overlooked or underserved by their Church family. Just a couple half-hour visits a month to encourage and pray with someone can make their whole week!
Women’s Ministry: The Women’s Ministry exists to serve the women of Grace Bible through coordinating Book and Bible studies, the Women’s Coffee Fellowship, and the Titus 2 Panel.
